This afternoon, at 5pm, there were 3,000 visitors to the Sora gallery located on Prinsep Street.
This 440 unit private condo, located in Jurong Lake District on Yuan Ching Road was built by a SingHaiyi consortium which also included KSH Holdings.
The project is located 300m from Jurong lake Gardens.
The turnout was very encouraging commented as prices at Sora start from $1,850 psf, or just under $1 million for a one-bedroom-plus-study unit.
The 99-year leasehold condo has a wide range of units, from one-bedroom-plus-study of 538 sq ft to 1,938 sq ft, five-bedroom.
Sky 360’s rooftop terraces, which offer unobstructed views over Jurong Lake Gardens, were also a big draw. The Sky 360 roof terraces cover a total area of 27,500 sf, and are spread out over two 12-storey towers and another set of 20-storey towers.
The project is designed and constructed by Nakano Singapore with Ecoplan Asia acting as landscape consultant.
The developer appointed five top real estate agents as joint marketing agencies.
The rainy Saturday didn’t deter the many real potential homebuyers. Many were attracted by the $1,850 per sq ft starting price.
The positive response of the weekend shows that there is still a strong demand for attractively priced new projects that are located in desirable locations in [Outside Central Region].
The Lentor Mansion, a 553-unit project launched in March and sold 75% of its units on the launch weekend. At the end of June, 81% were sold for an average price $2,268 per sq ft.
OCR projects at an average price of $2100 to $2200 psf still seem reasonable to buyers.
